Many products sold by Third Stop Vintage are vintage, antique, collectible, discontinued, pre-owned, or otherwise not newly manufactured.

These products may display normal signs of age, previous ownership, storage, handling, manufacture, or use. Such characteristics may include:

  • Surface wear, scratches, scuffs, fading, discoloration, crazing, patina, or staining

  • Small manufacturing irregularities, mold marks, bubbles, seams, inclusions, or variations

  • Wear to labels, packaging, boxes, inserts, tags, or printed materials

  • Minor chips, flea bites, roughness, repairs, missing parts, or other imperfections disclosed in the listing

  • Odors associated with age, storage, paper, textiles, or previous ownership

  • Variations in color, size, pattern placement, finish, or appearance

We make reasonable efforts to photograph and describe material condition issues. However, photographs may not show every minor imperfection, and colors may appear differently depending on lighting, camera settings, screens, and display settings.

Condition descriptions reflect our good-faith assessment and may be subjective. By purchasing vintage, antique, pre-owned, or collectible merchandise, you acknowledge that such products are generally not expected to be in new or flawless condition unless expressly described as such.

Customers should review all available photographs, measurements, condition notes, and product descriptions before purchasing.

4. Product Identification and Attribution

We make reasonable efforts to accurately identify product makers, patterns, materials, dates, origins, editions, and other characteristics.

Unless a product attribution is supported by a manufacturer’s mark, original documentation, or another definitive source, identification may be based on our research, experience, comparison, or good-faith opinion.

Terms such as “style,” “inspired,” “attributed to,” “believed to be,” “possibly,” or “unmarked” indicate that the identification is not guaranteed.

We do not guarantee third-party grading, authentication, appraisal, or future resale value unless such a guarantee is expressly stated in the product listing.

5. Product Safety and Intended Use

Vintage and pre-owned products may not meet current manufacturing, labeling, electrical, lead, food-contact, child-safety, or other modern safety standards.

Unless a listing expressly states otherwise:

  • Vintage decorative items are sold primarily for display, collection, or decorative use.

  • Vintage glassware, ceramics, cookware, barware, and serving pieces have not been independently tested for lead, cadmium, or food safety.

  • Vintage electrical products have not necessarily been rewired, inspected, or certified by a licensed professional.

  • Vintage toys and collectibles may contain small parts, sharp edges, aged materials, or other potential hazards and are not intended for unsupervised use by children.

  • Decorative items should not be used for food, beverages, candles, electrical purposes, or other functional uses unless the customer determines that such use is safe and appropriate.

You are responsible for evaluating the suitability and safety of a product before using it.

6. Product Information

We attempt to provide accurate product descriptions, measurements, photographs, prices, inventory information, and other details.

Measurements are approximate unless otherwise stated. Small differences may occur because of measuring methods, product shape, manufacturing variation, or rounding.

We do not warrant that all product information is complete, current, or error-free. We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel an affected order when necessary.

7. Availability and Quantity Limits

Many of our products are one-of-a-kind or available in limited quantities.

Placing an item in your cart does not reserve it. An item is not secured until checkout is completed and payment is accepted.

Inventory may occasionally become unavailable because of simultaneous purchases, cross-listing on another marketplace, damage discovered during fulfillment, inventory discrepancies, or other circumstances.

We reserve the right to:

  • Limit the quantity of products purchased by one person, household, account, payment method, or shipping address

  • Discontinue a product at any time

  • Cancel an order for an unavailable item

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will issue a refund for the canceled item or order.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. A price change will not ordinarily affect an order that we have already accepted, except when the original price resulted from an obvious error.

Applicable sales tax will be calculated and collected during checkout when required.

Shipping charges and any applicable taxes are displayed during checkout before the order is submitted.

Discounts, promotional codes, and special offers:

  • May be subject to additional conditions

  • May not be combined unless expressly permitted

11. Shipping

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days.

We currently ship within the United States. Our standard shipping service is USPS Ground Advantage, with USPS Priority Mail available as an expedited option when offered during checkout.

Shipping charges are calculated using current live USPS rates based on factors such as the package’s size, weight, destination, and selected service.

Shipping estimates are not guaranteed. Carrier delays, severe weather, holidays, service interruptions, incorrect addresses, and other circumstances outside our control may affect delivery.

12. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Returns, refunds, exchanges, and order cancellations are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

Customers are responsible for reviewing that policy before purchasing. Any eligibility periods, exclusions, condition requirements, return-shipping responsibilities, restocking conditions, or damage-reporting requirements stated in our Return and Refund Policy apply to your order.

13. Damaged Shipments

We carefully package products, but damage may occur during transit.

  • Any visible damage to the package

The customer must retain the product and all packaging materials until the claim is resolved, as USPS or another carrier may require them for inspection.

Failure to retain the packaging or provide requested documentation may affect our ability to pursue a carrier claim or offer a resolution.
